Pad mounted transformer can be overhead or ground pad mounted it depeneds
upon the customer request. You need pad mounted if your proposed transformer
above 3-100 kva. for pole mounted only below 3-100 kva but for 100 kva must
be installed in a 40 feet 350 kgms concrete pole and it must be located at
customer compound for safety purposes.
